The Block
Located along Goodramgate is The Block, a perfect quick-stop location to grab a bite to eat in between running errands, shopping or on your lunch break. With an ever evolving street-style menu each visit will be as great, if not better, than the last. A new edition to the menu is the tasty SPUD-YOU-LOVE pizza topped with roasted potatoes, mushrooms, mascarpone and sage. The variety of meaty, veggie and vegan options means there is a pizza everyone will love.
Il Paradiso Del Cibo
Authentic Italian cuisine and one of the warmest welcomes in York is what you can expect from Il Paradiso Del Cibo. Each pizza is created following original recipes and made in their wood-burning pizza oven. Fifteen different pizzas are available with toppings ranging from the classic cheesy margherita to spicy Italian salame, artichoke, anchovies and mushrooms. There are many other authentic and unique Italian dishes with a Sardinian influence that you can enjoy alongside your pizza and the staff are more than happy to explain all their dishes and accompaniments. But be prepared to be refused parmesan by staff so they can ensure your delicious meal stays flavoursome.
Cresci
Found on Piccadilly is a true, traditional Neapolitan Pizzeria, Cresci. Much loved by the local community and tourists alike, Cresci has become a hotspot for authentic and delicious dishes, all for an affordable price. Their menu is filled with classics like the ‘Bufala’ with buffalo mozzarella, tomato and basil, as well as special and seasonal pizzas including the ‘Calabrese’, ‘Pomodoro Giallo E Pancetta’ and ‘Porcini and Roasties’.
Caesars
Enjoy some amazing views of the historic city of York and rich traditional Italian pizza at Caesars. Each hand stretched, stone baked pizza is made with only the best and freshest ingredients to give it that authentic flavour. Pizza prices range from £12.45 to £16.95 with a gluten free base option for an extra £3 and extra toppings available for either £1 or £1.50. Rad Pizza Shop in Spark
Found in Spark:York is the home of Neapolitan-style pizza, Rad Pizza Shop. Their wood-fired pizzas use a sourdough base made in store and are topped with san marzano tomato and fior de latte cheese to create truly authentic Neapolitan pizzas. Each team member has a passion for pizza and always ensures they serve some of the best pizza around. Prices for red pizzas range from £5.50 to £9.50 and their white pizzas, which come without the san marzano tomato sauce, are priced at £8.95 and £9.50.
EborCibus Pizza
Find a slice of New York and Detroit right here in York at EborCibus Pizza in The Mount Pub. As the first pizzeria to sell the trending Detroit style pizza in York, they make sure every slice is packed full of delicious American flavours. One of their favourite special pizzas, the mushroom and truffle pizza, has been permanently added to the menu for you to enjoy anytime you like.
